As a 79-year-old disabled Vietnam Army veteran, there comes a point when pride has to make room for accepting help. That isn't always easy for someone who spent his life serving others and taking care of himself. But over the past two years, AegleWell has reminded me that accepting help doesn't mean losing your dignity.
Living with disabilities has made everyday tasks difficult, but AegleWell has been there every step of the way.
They've helped me keep my home clean, made sure I had nutritious meals, assisted with showers when I needed it, helped with laundry, and provided transportation to appointments and errands. These aren't just services—they've given me the ability to continue living safely and independently in my own home.
What has touched me the most is the companionship. They don't rush in and rush out. They sit with me, listen to my stories, ask how I'm doing, and make me feel like I still matter. For many veterans, loneliness can be just as difficult as physical challenges. The kindness, respect, and friendship I've received from AegleWell have meant more than words can express.
After serving my country, it's humbling to know there are people willing to serve veterans with the same compassion and dedication. AegleWell has given me more than practical help—they've given me hope, friendship, and peace of mind. I truly don't know where I'd be without them, and I will always be grateful for everything they've done for me.
Thank you for seeing the person behind the veteran and for reminding me that no one has to face life's challenges alone."
— Carter, Vietnam Army Veteran

I am a disabled veteran living full-time in my RV. While traveling through the Mesquite, Arizona Strip, and Southern Utah area, I found myself struggling financially, emotionally, mentally, and physically as a result of my medical conditions.
During one of the most difficult times in my life, I met a representative from AegleWell. Instead of seeing just another person in need, they took the time to sit down with me, listen to my story, and understand what I was facing.
They arranged for me to stay in a motel for a few nights, made sure I had food and drinks, and, most importantly, helped me find safe, affordable long-term accommodations that fit both my budget and my disabilities. For the first time in a while, I felt like someone genuinely cared about my well-being and wanted to help me get back on my feet.
Their kindness, compassion, and willingness to help made an incredible difference in my life. I will always be grateful for the support I received during a time when I truly needed it.
Thank you, AegleWell, for treating me with dignity, respect, and compassion. Your help gave me more than a place to stay—it gave me hope.

As President of The Humming Bird Space, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the dedication, leadership, and generosity that AegleWell has demonstrated in supporting our organization's development. I am honored to share my appreciation for the significant role AegleWell—and in particular, Founder, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer Jamilyn Fenn—has played in helping establish a strong foundation for our nonprofit.
Founding a nonprofit organization requires vision, commitment, and an immense amount of behind-the-scenes work. Throughout this journey, Jamilyn has generously shared her knowledge, experience, and time to mentor Jessica Kleinman, Founder and Executive Director of The Humming Bird Space. Her collaborative approach to nonprofit development has provided guidance that has strengthened our organization far beyond what we could have accomplished alone.
AegleWell has contributed countless hours reviewing and advising on key organizational documents, including governance structures, bylaws, policies, procedures, and program development. Their support has helped ensure that The Humming Bird Space is building on a solid foundation with accountability, transparency, and long-term sustainability in mind.
In addition to mentorship and organizational guidance, AegleWell has generously donated essential equipment, including a laptop, which has enabled The Humming Bird Space to develop programs, maintain organizational records, and build the infrastructure necessary to pursue grant funding and operate in accordance with nonprofit best practices.
What has impressed me most is the genuine commitment AegleWell demonstrates in helping other organizations succeed. Rather than simply offering advice, they have invested their time, expertise, and resources to help strengthen our capacity to serve our community.
We are deeply grateful for AegleWell's partnership and collaboration. It is an honor to work alongside an organization that exemplifies integrity, service, and a commitment to strengthening communities through collaboration rather than competition.
On behalf of The Humming Bird Space, thank you to Jamilyn Fenn and the entire AegleWell team for your generosity, leadership, and belief in our mission. We look forward to continuing our partnership as we work together to build healthier individuals, stronger families, and more resilient communities.
